A couple of weeks ago, our MD, Jaime downed Mac for the afternoon and accompanied top Manchester Confidential hack, Simon Binns for afternoon tea at Sugar Junction, Tib St, Northern Quarter.

What with Sugar Junction being literally downstairs from JAM towers and with tea and cake on offer, Jaime was quick out the door.

We must say, we are huge fans of a civilised afternoon tea. We love a scone smothered in JAM, obviously. We’re also big on meeting up face-to-face. In this digital age it’s all too easy to hide behind e-mails and Tweets. As convenient as digital communications are you just can’t beat a good old-fashioned meet up…although invariably we will Tweet about said meeting.

As Simon was so keen to use a pic of Jaime enjoying her tea and scones it’s only fair we return the favour. For your delectation, here’s Mr Binns beaming over his brew.
