PR Account Executive
We are growing. And we need another Jammer to join us.
This role is ideal for someone with early agency experience or a strong internship behind them who is ready to get stuck into all areas of both digital and traditional PR.
You will join a fast-paced, ambitious, collaborative team that works across an exciting mix of B2B and consumer brands, delivering integrated PR campaigns that secure headlines, build reputation and deliver commercial impact.
The Role:

Media Relations:
- Draft media materials including press releases, pitches and journalist briefing notes.
- Build and maintain media lists across national, regional, sector, broadcast and digital media.
- Proactively sell in stories to journalists via phone, email and face-to-face meetings.
- Support with media monitoring, cuttings and reporting.
- Build early relationships with key journalists relevant to our clients.
Content & Copy:
- Draft press releases, blog posts, comment pieces and feature contributions.
- Work with senior team to support award entries, reports and thought leadership content.
- Ensure all content is factually accurate, well written and delivered on time.
Client Management:
- Support client teams on day-to-day delivery across multiple accounts.
- Attend client meetings and calls, taking accurate contact reports and managing follow-ups.
- Prepare client reports, meeting agendas and status updates.
- Respond to client emails and calls promptly and professionally.
Digital PR:
- Understand the role of digital PR in SEO and brand visibility.
- Support outreach to secure online coverage with relevant, authoritative links.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Inclusive, Response Source and media databases to support reporting and research.
Reporting & Admin:
- Prepare monthly coverage reports, ensuring all coverage is tracked and evaluated.
- Maintain accurate files, media lists and admin across all accounts.
- Support in the management of forward features calendars and editorial deadlines.
Creative & Campaign Support:
- Contribute actively to brainstorms, offering creative ideas for media stories, hooks and campaigns.
- Monitor news agendas, trends and competitor activity, feeding in ideas for proactive opportunities.
Event Management & Support:
- Support the planning and delivery of client and agency events, from press launches to media briefings.
- Liaise with suppliers, venues and partners to help coordinate logistics.
- Assist with guest list management, RSVPs and onsite support during events.
- Prepare briefing documents, press packs and event collateral as required.
- Help manage follow-up media outreach and post-event reporting.
Jam Marketing & Agency Support:
- Support Jam’s own marketing activity, including drafting agency news stories, award entries, blog posts and social content.
- Assist in managing Jam’s own PR and social media presence, identifying opportunities to promote the agency.
- Help with organisation of Jam-hosted events, networking opportunities and speaker slots.
- Contribute ideas and content for internal knowledge shares, training sessions and agency development.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Ideally 6-18 months’ experience in PR, comms or digital (agency or in-house).
- A strong writer with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who is happy picking up the phone and chasing down coverage via email and face to face comms.
- Some existing journalist contacts are a bonus.
- Understanding of both digital and traditional PR practices.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics is desirable.
- Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Curious, proactive and a team player.
