Frocks at the ready!

03.11.16

Tonight is the night we’ve all been waiting for – the CIPR North West PRide Awards, a night to recognise and celebrate all the outstanding work done this year by the region’s PR agencies.

The Jammers are proud to have been shortlisted for a whopping six awards this year. Here’s a round up of the campaigns we’ve put our hearts, souls and strategies into and the amazing results we’ve achieved for our clients.

#MakeTheTeam

Our client, Argos for Business, tasked JAM with delivering a compelling campaign to engage and educate employers and managers on the benefits of a motivated workforce. Having launched the UK’s first official National Employee Motivation Day (EMD) in 2015, we were then asked to build upon this key diary date and launch a fresh campaign in 2016.

We put together an integrated social media and PR campaign, including nationwide research that reached 59.6 million people and gained TV, radio, print, and digital coverage. And with motivation and team spirit most commonly found in sporting arenas, we recruited four-time Olympic medallist turned motivational speaker, Roger Black, as the face of the campaign.

It was a great campaign to be involved with, and the Jammers are honoured to now be shortlisted for a CIPR PRide award for Integrated Campaign, and Corporate and Business Communications.

Cycling Scouser

The Cycling Scouser, aka Andrew Rogerson, is an incredible man who decided to cycle 10,000 miles from Shanghai to Liverpool to raise money for blood cancer charity,  Anthony Nolan . He was motivated to take on such a difficult challenge, with no prior cycling experience, to support his best friend’s son who has been looked after by Anthony Nolan while fighting Leukaemia.

Andrew managed to complete his challenge and raise an incredible £25,000 for the charity. He then won Pride of Merseyside and was nominated for the Pride of Britain Award 2016. The Jammers are proud to have been asked to help Andrew raise awareness, create a website that tracked his journey, and deliver a PR campaign that resulted in national, broadcast, print and online coverage of his story.

Offering our help pro bono, we are honoured to have been shortlisted for CIPR PRide awards for Community Relations Campaign and Not for Profit.

Congratulations Rogo! You’re an inspiration!

Talking to tradies

Our client, C.K tools, is a major player in the UK professional hand tool market and tasked JAM with building its social profile, to grow a solid and truly engaged following to rival its competitors.

Through analysis of their competitors, understanding of their target audience, and the creation of engaging content, we have been able to massively increase their following, engagement levels, and smash our targets by building a solid and loyal fan base with tradies. And thanks to the success of the campaign, we have been nominated for Low Budget Campaign and Best Use of Social Media.

It’s been a great year for JAM and for all its clients, and we wish all those shortlisted good luck tonight! We look forward to seeing you there and to toasting to all the amazing work that’s been delivered in 2016.
