Creative Account Manager

What are we looking for?

We’re on the hunt for a proactive, enthusiastic, and driven Account Manager to join our exceptional team at Jam. We’re looking for someone to run and manage multiple projects over a number of clients on the creative side of the business.

You’ll be an integral part of the creative team, maintaining solid relationships both externally with our clients and internally with the Jam team. Making sure all projects run smoothly, at the highest quality of standards and ensuring all deadlines are met.

From branding and web to campaigns and social media, you’ll support in delivering extraordinary thinking for established brands across the fintech, travel, and non-profit sectors.

Who will you be working with?

You’ll support and report to our Associate Director, whilst working with the full creative team, plus collaboratively with the wider integrated team. As well as managing and proactively working with Jam’s external production partners when required. As the business grows you’ll have the opportunity to mentor junior members of the team.

What do we need from you?

  • Draft comprehensive briefs for all work, ensuring all recipients understand the requirements of work
  • Build and lead internal relationships to ensure the smooth running of complex accounts and projects
  • Manage full creative workflow with support from your Associate Director, flagging where there might be bottlenecks and presenting solutions
  • Build and lead effective client relationships and acts as the day to day client contact; working with them to achieve their marketing objectives
  • Works with the Associate Director from initial scoping and creative brief through to production and delivery
  • Is a committed, responsible and confident leader of projects and teams, who can work both independently and as part of the wider team
  • Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their requirements and spot opportunities for further work
  • Always provides the standard of service to the client that meets and exceeds client expectations
  • Provides support and guidance for more junior members of the account management team, sharing expertise and knowledge
  • Ensures that all projects are planned, briefed and monitored to achieve excellence within agreed timescales
  • Attends monthly client meetings and ensures client requests and briefs are actions in a timely manner
  • Involvement in client planning and strategy sessions and expected to contribute materials and support with client co-ordination.


  • 2+ years at manager level in a creative or integrated agency
  • A confident manager with a safe-pair of hands for both the agency and client
  • A highly organised and motivated individual – making sure all jobs are completed to the highest standards
  • Organised and detail oriented individual 
  • Experience in workflow management, making sure all projects are delivered on time and to budget
  • Ability to think quickly, solve problems and offer solutions
  • Strong leadership, teamwork skills 
  • Experience working with a number of different clients and projects at one time 
  • Excellent facilitator and highly pro-active
