In the legendary words of Spandau Ballet, “Gold! Always believe in your soul. You’ve got the power to know you’re indestructible. Always believe in because you are gold.”
It’s as if the great Tony Hadley wrote those lyrics just for JAM. Well, it certainly did last night when we picked up the Gold award for Outstanding Small Consultancy at the CIPR North West PRide Awards.
We are brimming over with excitement and PRide at our Gold award, especially when we were shortlisted from over 1,000 UK-wide entries. Being shortlisted – let alone winning an award at PRide – is a great honour knowing that the work we deliver has been judged to be among the best in the UK.
Judges commented: “This is an impressive account of a business that has grown from a one-woman-band from a kitchen table to a five person team with ambitious objectives. Investment in personal development and training has paid dividends. Outstanding achievements covered revenue growth, client retention, awards and evaluation. An impressive entry!”
We say this every year but it’s true – awards can’t be won without great material to work with, so we’d like to thank all our clients, past and present, for being a great bunch of people (and brands) to work with.
And a HUGE thank you goes to our incredible team of Jammers – you rock! Keep up the amazing work.
Our new Gold award has taken pride of place in our now fit-to-bursting trophy cabinet. And as the hangovers start to subside (thank goodness!) we’re back to doing what we do best – delivering award-winning campaigns for our clients.

TV Chef, James Martin has enlisted the help of JAMpr to raise awareness of his new venture, Life Fork & Spoon (www.lifeforkandspoon.co.uk) – an online home-delivery service bringing delicious, restaurant quality meals and dishes to your door.
Manchester-based JAMpr will handle Life Fork & Spoon’s consumer and trade PR to highlight the product offering and communicate the ease, convenience and quality of the service. The PR drive will emphasise that all recipes have been specially created by James himself, along with his team of experienced chefs to provide the perfect way to serve up gourmet meals in a matter of minutes.
The PR programme includes a mixture of strategies targeting websites, digital and social media and offline activities, including a hard-working press office function, as well as event support.
Commenting on JAM’s appointment, James Martin said: “JAM’s experience and knowledge of the food industry, teamed with their clear passion and creativity really stood out in their pitch.
