The JAM Jar

18.12.10

We’re delighted to say that the JAM trophy cabinet is fit for bursting after we picked up a little more silverware at the CIPR North West PRide Awards this week.

For the second year running we scooped the silver award for Outstanding Small Consultancy, reaffirming our JAMtasticness! And, having delved into our toolbox of PR tactics, our hard work for client C.K tools was acknowledged with the silver award for Best Use of Media Relations.

We were also finalists in the Corporate and Business Communications category gaining recognition for our clucking good results for poultry supplier, Rectory Food Group.

We are absolutely over the moon with our awards, especially when we were shortlisted from over 1,220 UK-wide entries. Being shortlisted – let alone winning an award at PRide – is a great honour knowing that the work we deliver has been judged to be among the best in the UK.

Dave Sanders, Chair of CIPR North West, said: “The CIPR PRide Awards recognise and reward the thriving PR profession from across the UK. They help to celebrate the importance of demonstrating the value of what we, as public relations professionals, do and the positive impact this profession has on all aspects of business.  Being named as a CIPR PRide Award winner is a fantastic achievement and I congratulate all of this year’s winners.”

Awards can’t be won without great material to work with, so we’d like to thank all our clients, past and present, for being a great bunch of people (and brands) to work with.

We’re ending 2010 on a high and very much looking forward to 2011 and beyond, where we will continue to deliver exceptional results for our clients and hope to pick up a few more gongs along the way.

JAMpr is ending 2010 on a high after being appointed to handle the PR for two new clients – EHL Ingredients and digital marketing agency, Tecmark.

EHL Ingredients, based in Stockport, is a national supplier of natural ingredients to the food industry. JAMpr will carry out a nationwide B2B public relations campaign to raise awareness of EHL’s products among the UK food manufacturing sector. The team has devised a recipe for PR success for EHL and will work with the food industry media to educate manufacturers on the products in EHL’s range, as well promote its custom blends and organic ingredients. It will also provide PR support around key product launches, contract wins and raise the profile of the company on the North West business scene.

Tasneem Backhouse, sales director at EHL Ingredients comments: “The team at JAM impressed us with its knowledge and experience in the food sector and its creativity, enthusiasm and passion for our business really shines through. We are looking forward to working with JAM to raise our profile ahead of exciting company developments in 2011.”

Tecmark is a digital marketing agency specialising in SEO and the design, development and delivery of mobile apps. Apps have experienced a huge surge in popularity and JAM will target the mobile telecommunications sector and business leaders to ensure that Tecmark is front of mind when it comes to developing apps. JAM will support this growing business with a nationwide media relations campaign. With offices in Manchester and London, Tecmark operates nationally and currently works with clients such as Woolworths, Diabetic Friend and RADAR.

Richard Heyes, MD at Tecmark says: “Our business is growing at a rapid pace and the demand for app development is at an all time high so we are looking to JAMpr to make sure our name is on everyone’s lips. Our expansion continues and we plan to be a serious player in both mobile application development and SEO nationally. So far, we have been delighted with the coverage JAM has produced.”

JAMpr MD, Jaime Markey says: “We are thrilled to be working with these two fantastic North West businesses. Both companies have so much to shout about, which is testimony to the fact that the North West continues to thrive. We are working on some creative initiatives to place both brands firmly on their industries’ maps and the JAM team is looking forward to producing great results for our new clients.

“In addition to our new client wins, we also scooped two silvers at the CIPR PRide awards in November for Outstanding Small Consultancy and Best Use of Media Relations for our work with C.K tools, demonstrating that JAM is certainly a force to be reckoned with on the PR scene.”

In addition to EHL Ingredients and Tecmark, JAMpr’s client roster includes Rectory Food Group, Accommodationforstudents.com, Conferences:UK, and Carl Kammerling International.
